New smartphone app assesses the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on young adults.

June 2020

Researchers at King’s College London uses a smartphone app called Headsmart: Lockdown to conduct a study into the effect of COVID-19 lockdown on young adults.

The app is developed to provide young adults (ages 18-24) an opportunity to voice their opinions on how the pandemic has affected them. The individuals involved will answer questions regarding their health and wellbeing as well as reporting on their physical activity. The researchers aim to assess the changes in wellbeing, behaviours and attitudes across different groups (age, gender, and ethnicity) and additionally evaluate the effect of having a keyworker as a family member.
